Towing Question

Now that I have a new 2017 F-350 XL with a 2 1/2 receiver hitch, I'd like to buy a 2 1/2" Draw bar, preferably adjustable. An I-net search did not produce the results I expected. I would like to know what you guys are using? Thanks,

Rich,
Berwick, Maine

Ah, proper nomenclature is everything. I've always known these as draw bars. Thanks very much.

I still call them draw bars too. I think they had to cook up the term “ball mount” to keep from confusing the city folk.

I typically use dear bar also. Part of it is knowing a site that carries them, and looking up what they list them as. Also, for the OP, as mentioned, make sure your hitch is 2.5 before you order, as 3 inch is an option as well on some trucks. 3 inch ball mount options are limited at this time.

Check out Weigh Safe. There are a LOT of us running them. They are all aluminum and stainless. We have a long running thread about a discount for them at a vendor called Trunk Monkey. 10% off and free shipping and the coupon code is FTE.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll be making a purchase in the near future. It is a 2 1/2" receiver.
