Okay just this morning my truck started giving me a tone, sounds like seat belt tone, every once in awhile on my way to work. No lights on in the dash or anything, just that single tone every once in awhile. Any ideas?

 

I'm wondering if the owner's manual would cover why chimes may be occurring. If there is a section that covers that...I haven't had to look for it yet.

 

Well I did look in the owners manual and any chime that occurs like the one I heard would be accompanied by a dash light which there wasn't. It just happened those two times on my way to work and hasn't happened again so............. I also checked for any codes which there were none. Just have to see what happens.

 

Hopefully just an electrical gremlin that worked itself out.
