Hi everyone, I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.i took my 2011 f350 to a garage to have the clock spring replaced because the airbag light was on, horn stopped working and I could here the ribbon scratching like crazy. picked it up and the service advance trac light id on and the signal lights don't cancel. the person I talked to didn't do the work on it (the person who did) was gone home already but this guy says it needs to go to the dealer to have the steering angle sensor recalibrated. obviously they are going to have to fix the signals not cancelling but does the clock spring have anything to do with the advance trac system.
I payed the billed because it was supposed to be fixed but when i got in it the service advace trac was on so i left it with them again. When i picked it up they were closing and there was no one there to explain anything so i took the trck and thats when i noticed the turn signal didnt cancell after turning. With the holidays there is nobody to talk to until tues. probably a good thing to give me a bit of time to cool down before going in anyways. The steering angle sensor isnt even connected to the clock spring.
