clock spring

02 explorer, a couple months ago i had my clock spring replaced in the steering wheel because it was making a clicking noise as i turned the wheel, well ford replaced the clock spring and now i noticed today that the problem is on the way back...it's not as bad but it's there so im sure its the clock spring again...has anybody else had a problem with these or am i the only lucky one...and why would this continue to happen?

I have not heard of a clock spring, what is it? Does it have anything to do with the mechanism that turns off the turn signal?

The clockspring winds up & unwinds when you turn the steering wheel. It's the wiring to the switches on the stering wheel.
