Widest Tires
When i put the 275/60's on mine I was told that the stock 7" rims would give me less of a footprint and you wouldn't notice too much of a width difference. They recommended 15X8 so i went with 15X8.5.
But if you had to, 275/60 will fit the rim.

genberal rule of thinb is 5" diference in wheel adn tire width but i run a 33x12.50 on my stock 7" wheels. that problem with this is tight turns can fold the tire off the bead, never had this problem just heard abotu it. if theres any other reason im not aware of it,
