Ruby Red with Magna as Secondary Color??

Getting ready to order. I think Ruby Red is my fav color, especially with the Magna on the bottom, around the fenders and also the bumpers.

Question is: How do the painted bumpers hold up compared with the chrome bumpers? Or will I need to get them clear wrapped?

Thanks

I don't think that is a choice in colors. Only magnetic and stone gray come up as secondary colors for me.

I've had many trucks over the years. The chrome front ends hold up much , much better than the painted ones. Touch up paint or paint protection film from the start will help.

Sorry. Not a two-tone combination.

Yep. I love the looks of painted bumpers. On new trucks... looks like hell after 100k miles.

To get chrome bumpers you'd have to order the Monochromatic paint package.
I like the way painted bumpers look, but chrome is just so practical. I put Dawn dish detergent on a soft brush, wet the bugs down with it and wait 5 minutes. They come off with the hose. I do the same with the mirrors and windshield then move on to the tires and wheels while the Dawn softens them.

I had painted bumpers on my last two trucks...rock chips and love bugs took a toll on the bumpers. I found this stuff that worked pretty good on the bugs. Watch out using Dawn..it takes any wax off that you may have on. I'm back to a chrome bumper on my current truck and its a lot easier to keep up.

144k miles and 8 years on my f150 KR painted bumpers, salty roads in MD and rarely washed... They have a few small rock chips that you have to get close and look for, no rust, and still look great.

I got painted bumpers again on my 2017 F450 KR as well.

I prefer the look of painted bumpers but my 2006 SD with painted bumpers looked like hell by the time I traded it in this year. I take care of vehicles too. Washed, waxed, fluid filmed the insides..etc. still chipped and rust spots like crazy. So went with chrome on the truck.
