Oil Overfill

Should I be concerned that the dealer potentially added an additional quart of oil during the change today? Foaming oil from the crank? When I got home I was looking at the invoice and they charged me for 7 quarts but I only require 6. I have a 2008 v8 Explorer. I usually change my own oil but due to the recent weather in the North East I wasn't able to do it this time around. I will go out in the morning after everything has had a chance to settle over night to check the level. Was thinking if the did overfill it I could change the filter with a fresh one to bring the level down. Thoughts as service isn't open again until Monday.

I would check the level first. 1 quart overfull ( if it is overfull) is probably not a real big deal. Maybe 1/4 inch on the stick..... Could be they just added 1/2 quart and charge you for one........... Check Level first.

Checked the level and it is about a quarter inch over the second hole on the dipstick. Didn't see any foam on the dipstick so I am assuming it is okay but still doesn't make it correct as they should know what they are doing being the Ford dealer and all.
