I have a 2001 Ford f250 super duty 7.3 and I have no power going to my 4x4 switch. I have checked all the fuses and the relays and connections and I still have no power. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
How would a vacuum leak cause you to not have power at the 4x4 switch. The 4x4 switch is powered by electricity it doesn’t have any vacuum lines going to it, vacuum locks the auto hubs which don’t work due to vacuum leaks.
I had the same issue. Fighting with it for days. Turns out a connection in a wiring harness that I have unplugged to take the cab off had bent a pin over making no contact. Pulled the harness apart. Replaced the pin and reconnected the plug(more carefully this time) and 4x4 worked like it was new again.

where was was this pin (picture)? Do you know where all or most 4x4 connectors are?

My connector was located on the frame rail right in front of where the stock lift pump is located. I dont remember what pin number it was and dont have a pic at the moment. I can try and get you one later today or this coming weekend as the truck is now in storage for the winter.
