How is it going? I am doing some research on where I can rebuild my engine. I read some good reviews on the Oregon engine rebuilders up by Portland area. Anyone heard of them?
Been trying to patch up the engine and finally gave up and decided on an overall rebuild with cleaning and machining if necessary.
I'm from Vancouver, WA just across the bridge from you and I know that Oregon engine rebuilders has a good reputation.
I would make the drive to C's machine shop in Vancouver, right off I5. I've been there probably 20 times for various machine work over the last decade and they've been fantastic. about the same price as anyone else around here.

I am located in southern Oregon, so it’ll be a drive to go even further. I talked to the guys there and they seem very experienced and do the whole shipping process as well. I’ll keep C’s in mind if something happens! Appreciate the help!

Have had a few engines done there over the years. They do a good job. Super clean shop, great warranty. They do stick to mostly stock rebuilds, not high performance stuff.
