I’m not sure I would do that. You don’t want any holes look in the motar and stucco section. You should find some pretty thick poly.

Do you remember how many gallons of water it held? I used an entire bottle of Crystal Drain on 5 gallons. that stuff ain't cheap.

Measure your grill, length, width and height laying down flat and build accordingly.
The cost, time and labor involved is why I bought one from out Kingdom dentist. Time vs. money was the same.

spray on stuff doesn't require all this , just wet the ground below where you are working.
Easy cheesy.

But, from what I have read, it sounds like the spray on does not get it off very good and you still have to do a lot of sanding.

i did the spray , took off probably 95% . Multiple coats is the trick , keep it wet and foamy . I did mine in garage (shade) with fan next to grill (not blowing directly on it)
