]1971 f100 4x4 with 1976 460 in it. Just bought a few weeks ago and one of the first things I did was get rid of street tires that were on it. I got 10.50 all terrain tires on it and after bringing it home I realized that when I crank the wheel all the way to one side my tires hit my control arms. Backed it in my garage and next time I got it out realized both my hubs were loose and long story short my axle nuts were loose on both sides, so I fixed that. Now all the sudden I have a death wobble when I get up to about 30 mph. The other interesting part is it only shakes when I have to hold it on the road. If I let the wheel go it pulls to the left and no wobble. The first and only thing Iv replaced is my steering stabilizer and that didn't fix it. My other steering parts are old but seem to be tight. Any suggestions on what to look for next??? I have a good video of the wobble in action but can't seem to upload it.
I think you need an alignment. It sounds like there may be too much tow in or out. The street tires you had, did they show any wear? What mods have been done to the vehicle?

No mods except for the tires, and I don't remember the old tires, I do know that when I drive it home from tire shop it drive real straight, same as it did before, in fact it never did pull either direction until the wobble started.

No other mods except for the bigger tires, and I don't remember the old ones, I do know the truck drove super straight before and after getting new tires, it didn't start to pull left until the wobble started.
Could I have damaged something by driving it only a little bit with loose hubs??? I didn't realize my hubs were loose until I got on highway and I turned around asap and fixed them.
Check your front wheel bearings and what is the state of your radius arm bushings, the C bushings, and the track bar bushing? Bad ones can aggravate the handling along with bad wheel bearings.
