Looking to replace front springs on my ‘04 X 4x4 6.0lD Limited. Figured I would ask those who have been there and done that. Had the X for 12 years and a 142K miles. There seems to be a lot of spring sag. Want to do a 2” lift to offset the lift provided by my Firestone airbags on the rear.
I would suggest a set of X codes, either OEM or from Junior at ATS.
My notes show that a set of V codes will lift the front of a PSD EX 1.5". W codes will lift it 2.52" and X codes will give 2.52" of lift.
Now having said that, are you using the Firestone airbags for suspension lift? You really shouldn't, they are designed to aid the springs by providing additional capacity when loaded heavy. A set of modded B (or C) codes will give that same amount of rear lift without relying on the airbags. Junior at ATS has a nice special C code that many owners here are using.

Thats awesome! Just the info I need. I’ll give Junior a call at ATS. Thanks!
The airbags when inflated to normal ride pressure (35 psi) lift the rear about 2”. My front springs are pretty worn. I have Bilstiens all the way around with 40K miles on them.
"Normal ride pressure" should be 5 to 10 PSI if not handling some extra weight like a heavy tongued trailer. Running around unloaded with 35 PSI in your bags shouldn't be needed and would make for a rougher ride than desired I would think. But I don't have bags (yet), just going off what I think I've learned about them from talking and reading on the subject.
