Decipher Please? - 1962 F100

Any help would be appreciated . . .

Also suggestions on removing paint to uncover original plate?

281088 = 1962, assembled April 1962.

COLOR: Blank.*

MODEL F100: F100 2WD; 5,000 lbs. GVWR

TRANS A: Ford Light Duty 3 Speed Manual (non syncromesh 1st gear).

AXLE 11: Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.70-1 / 3,300 lbs. Axle Capacity.

Third line:

MAX GVW LBS 05000: 5,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

CERT NET HP 114 @ 3600 RPM

DSO 245865:

24 = Jacksonville FL Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

5865 = Domestic Special Order number, truck ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."

*When there is no COLOR code stamped on the Warranty Plate, truck painted a non standard color per the original purchasers order, making it a Domestic Special Order.
