C6 with 4R100 internals?
I am getting ready to rebuild a 4x4 C6 transmission and have a question about using 4R100 forward and reverse planetaries. Are they a drop in using the 4R100 sun shell? Also I might be able to pick up a 4R100 out of a 1999 diesel - would that transmission have the more desirable steel 6 pinion forward planetary?
Thanks FTE!

Great links in post 3 if you can squint hard enough to read them:

Another kit:
Wide Ratio Gear Kit with Needle Bearing Kit - Broader Performance
The parts lists and instructions from those sites ought to aid the DIY effort, or switch you to pulling out the credit card....ymmv. Good luck!
