c6 year, model id
I have a c6 I just rebuilt for my truck, but I can't find a #1 selective shim that fits it. I got one from Ford, for the truck it came out of, but the shim is too small in diameter. Luckily, the tranny does have a tag on it, and according to some info I have found, it may be a car c6. The info is on the tag as follows:
PGD CZ1 K2
F0TP NA 016611

There should be no difference between a car + truck c6 as the front pumps are all the same.If the washer is too small they have given you the incorrect one.
Perhaps try an aftermarket trans parts place would be better.
