P1395 Help
Hello all,
I have a P1395 code on my 1999 (early) F250 XLT 7.3L (Cali). The code reads Glow Plug Monitor Fault, Bank 1. I thought that Bank 1 was the driver side, but I just read something that says Bank 1 is the passenger side. Can anyone confirm which side it is so that I do not waste time troubleshooting. The truck is having no issues starting or running (knock on wood) but I need to fix this so that I can pass the CA smog check.

After you fix the issue and clear the codes, be sure to drive it around for a few days to completed the "drive cycle". If you do not there will be a soft code P1000 which does not illuminate the CEL. The smog tech will pull that code and fail the smog test. A necessary part of the drive cycle is clicking the OD on and off with the button on the shifter. Don't forget that or you'll fail the test. Ask me how I know.
