Hey guys, I've lurked for a bit via Google and finally decided to join up, picked up my 2001 F150 Screw this past summer. Had a few bugs that I'm glad I worked out, and now that I have a company vehicle, I can focus on making this truck nicer.

troubleshot and replaced both solenoids to have working 4wd, and the infamous no heat.cut open the air box and checked the blend door. It was stood. Sealed up box, and checked fluid level. Added water. No heat. Pulled Tstat, tossed in some hot water, it opened, but replaced anyways. Realized I had no pressure, so I grabbed a radiator cap. She built pressure alright... enough to find the leak in the radiator... ordered a radiator, still running with water only, and the upper hose gave out. Atbthis point, I backflushed the heater core, and did upper and lower hoses. Still no heat. I said what the heck, yanked out the water pump, and as I suspected, no vanes. It looked like a ninja star! I replaced the pump and now have heat and completely reworked cooling system with brand new antifreeze. What luck.
Anyways, I'll post a few pictures, glad to be aboard!
