59 292 engine colors
Need help identifying correct engine color for valve covers and block.
The original valve covers looked orange to me but everything I see is Ford Red. What is Ford red? Maybe my valve covers were originally red and faded out.
The best I find on line is block was black, valve covers and air cleaner were red.

When we were still part of the 48-60 forum there was lots of discussion on this. You may want to search there. IIRC the records were lost in a fire and there is no available documentation on the engine colors other than some sales brochure pictures. Good luck.
