Step Plate/Riser repair pictures

A picture is worth 1000 words. Would like to find about 50,000 words worth of pictures of a step plate and riser repair. I know I need one step but I may replace them both as the other is pitted pretty bad and I want them to match. I my replace both risers versus repair the bottoms but I want to see some pics first.

Any pics or links to posts would be greatly appreciated. Posts of replacing front cab mounts and the sheetmetal above them would be appreciated too.

Would be great if there was a YouTube instructional or article on proper way to do the repair/replacement.... the outside of our '57 is painted already and I am more than nervous to start cutting...

Ya this would be a good step by step. As my 57 when I get at it will be the most extensive sheep metal replacement I will have tackled thus far.
It will be floor both sides, cab supports both sides, steps complete, lower 12"-16" of the A pillar both sides, and some of the fire wall.

Holy crap, why don't you just come down and get a good solid cab from me, I have a spare one. Oh, wait. I won't be home until late spring, if they don't kill me first, lol.

Can't replace the cab on a panel truck ;-) Other wise I would. I will be looking for cab to cut apart for the sheetmetal though.
