idling issues.

08 F350 6.4 with DPF delete and flash tuned. exact tune is unknown. after warmup I have a miss when idling.

is it present if the AC is off?

Thanks for the reply Robert. It did it this morning with the heat on. I keep the climate controls on auto. I will turn it off when I go to lunch today and see what happens. If it stops what do you think the issue may be?

DPF-R units give a miss in the idle with the HVAC system on, nothing to be alarmed about

Thanks for the info Robert. I checked it when I went to lunch and that is what was causing the miss. With the AC off it idles perfect.

Glad to hear this one got resolved. I had never heard about that "symptom" of running those DPF delete plug ins with the AC on. Strange indeed.

only issue for Shane going forward is a way to get back to stock if he ever decides to change tuners


The miss, and throttle response are the reasons I switched to the H&S

My truck does the same. That is totally wacky. I will have to turn off the HVAC as well and see what she does.
