Guess we were thinking alike. Good they are letting you get the OT. Too bad it be in th e check after Christmas.

Been having my typical luck Yesterday left the back glass up on the Jeep, when I got ready to come home battery was dead. Call my neighbour ,he brought his Super Duty over and we got it started. Driving home the dash lights were cycling on and off. Stoped at Advance in Jackson to have them check the charging system. Shut the Jeep off would not start back. Found both terminals a little loose. Bought battery shims still could not fet it started. Pulled the battery put it on fast charge it tested bad. Guess the Christmas spirit is alive the manager gave me a battery that was defective. It is starting the Jeep.

went back out today cutting some stumps, when to cut a tree chain would not move. The roller tip on the bar locked up. Drove to the tractor place (11 miles) they needed the serial # of the saw. Ended up driving to TSC in Covington another 15 miles . Driving ba k missed a turn had to back track 5 miles.
Got back to land got everything back together, about 2 hours later went to cut a tree saw something leaking under the tractor, got turned around loaded everything got out of the woods. I busted some type relief valve on a the rear end.
Hope it does not take 6 weeks to get parts this time

I have had those type of days too!
The overtime is nice but it takes a lot longer to get home since traffic is really bad then.

what I broke was a valve for the pto. The hydraulics was acting funny before it broke. At idle jerky steering and fel is slow to none. I going to drain and flush the system and replace the filter. Check all the lines to make sure they are tight.

Another transmission job complete!! Have some busted up stuff to fix that should take the rest of the day to complete. Steady rain here at work, glad I'm inside.

Long range forecast shows 2 -3 inches of snow for North Georgia on 2 January, have to keep an eye on the weather.

You are rough on that new tractor

tomorrow I will be back in georgia. Today i had the day off by accident/purpose at work so I moved mud and dirt on my property

Boss today decided to rebuild his Mercedes v12, and skipped every step for torqing the heads because it was confusing. So the heads are torqued to 55ftlbs. No 90 degree turn, no sequence, just a 55, click click she good. I cant wait till the heads go HMMMMmmmmm psssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Good day today!
They announced they were giving all employees a 500 dollar bonus!! Got a bunch of the branches out of the yard from the storm. Put a drive belt on the MTD lawn tractor. I drained and refilled the hot tub. I ordered a carb for the Wheel Horse to see if I can get it running again. I have attached a pic of the 552.
