I have both JeliBuilt (Brian) and SDK (Dan) and I have nothing bad to say about either. Both gave me extra tunes cause they wanted me to send them data logs because I have a “uncommon” hex code for the build I have. Both have their perks. On the highest JeliBuilt tune, the power doesn’t come on until 1/2 throttle. With the SDK it’s almost immediate. It’s basically vanilla vs chocolate, they are both good but everyone has their opinion on what’s better.
I have GH and Cody on my Hydra and I can switch just fine. Like has been said, as long as the HEX code matches. The GH tunes will be deleted though cause I am putting in new sticks.
Do NOT load tunes from two different tuners on your Hydra. At the very least anyway, you can't switch between them while the truck is running. Bad things will happen.

My PHP and GH tunes have the same hex code and I don't have any problems jumping between them on the same drive.
When I switch tunes with KOEO I get a jump or a hiccup. Sometimes the glow plug light comes back on. Other times it's smooth a silk not sure why. And they are the same hex code.

Interesting. I had some intermittent issues with my 6-position chip going between settings (all from the same tuner) but none yet with my Hydra: foot off of the go pedal, select tune, wait for dispaly to blink (~1 sec), foot back on the go pedal.

It happens especially when I go from a daily to a hot street. But doesn't when I go from hot street to drag ripper. Same tuner and with either SDK or JeliBuilt. Go figure...
Has someone dealed with Brian recently?
We were doing some revisions and he suddenly stopped responding to me.
I mean it's been like weeks since he emailed me..
Somebody shout at him that Manu from Finland is waiting for his revisions..
I emailed him when I was looking at the new KC turbo, he responded initially but after that email I tried calling him. I left 4 voicemails without a single response. I was planning on buying the turbo and a tune or 2 from him but if I have to beg you to take my money, what’s it gonna be like when you already have it??? In the end he didn’t get my money …
Pretty sure he was racing his truck this weekend, usually a 3/4 day excursion. He always responds to me, kinda hard to get mad at a guy for doing what he advertises and supports.

Personally I’m not mad BUT in my case 4 voicemails over 4-7 weeks and not a single reply…? Yeah, you’re not gonna get my money period. If he wants to race and promote himself through his performance at that racing that’s fine but he also advertises tunes and parts etc, gotta find a balance between the two.
I can understand the frustration but for me his tunes were FAR better than 1023 and SDK, never mind canned from PHP.
I'll wait patiently for a guy who's product I prefer everytime.
