How do I know which fuel pump?
Bubba's heart stopped. Fuel pump is dead.
Looking at various parts houses, I see multiple pumps. How do I know which one I need?
1996 e350, 7.5l, one tank. Some are for a 'center' tank, some have three ports, some two... without removing it how do I know which is right?

probably you will need to drain and drop the tank. I did the pump on a dodge caravan and thats how I did it. This past summer had to have the pump replaced on our rv and thats how they did it, but they did not drain the tank just tilted it to get the pump out and in.
Take vin to dealer and they can probably tell you which one is needed.

Did a 94 side tank. Was told I'd have to pull the pump and bring it in to get the right one. They told me Ford used two in that tank/year but didn't keep records of which vin got which pump.
