Flareside diamond plate protector progress

Put together a 2-roll former.
Seems to actually work!

IT is 70" long in order to make the tailgate and bed rail protectors.....

And it Fits!

Nice.
Where did you find the rollers and are they solid?

First Test bend with Diamond plate, I call it a fail, but great data was gathered.

*Both internal and external bars deflect way too much......

* internal bar does not roll during pressing, Sooooo Ill weld angle Iron to it to keep it from deflecting.

* External bar rolls so I can go with a much larger Dia to lower the deflection.....but how to get a larger dia circle to rotate in the smaller one's diameter???

I was thinking the same thing.....good looking fail.

I have the same issue with flex on my home made brake and it has 4" "L".
For me it was good enough so I live with it.
