The pickup in the mountains...

Spent Labor Day weekend camping with my brother. We drove the truck and took a few pics!

Thought maybe some of you would like to see:

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_1 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 72KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Me without the pickup...a rare moment on this trip.

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_2 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 79KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_3 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 110KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_4 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 80KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_5 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 93KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_6 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 114KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_7 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 67KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

My brother with the truck. This pass was NOT worth it. The road was horrible and had to drive super slow. Next time I drive the Jeep up there. But its the memories I guess:

<TABLE id=ncode_imageresizer_warning_8 class=ncode_imageresizer_warning width=640><TBODY><TR><TD class=td1 width=20></TD><TD class=td2 unselectable="on">This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 1024x577 and weights 88KB.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Actually average about 16 mpg through the mountains and had a blast. Can't wait to get back out there.

Dude, sweeeeet.... Look into the jeep trail on Mt Democrat, and the Argentine Pass from Georgetown, if they're anything like the were a few years ago a SD would be a squeeze in a few places, but do-able. There's nothing like driving at 13,000-14,000 feet over the TOP of the mountain

I've been over Independence pass. It's a fun trip.

Hard to breath up there though, isn't it?
