Cold air intakes ?

I seem to hear a lot about this upgrade on the 6.2.

2011-2016 F250 & F350 6.2L Cold Air Intake Systems

Is it worth it?

What can I expect from it?

Is the oiled one better?

Sorry if this has been beating senseless already, I tried a search on it, nothing......

Thanks.

Cold air intakes are not really worth the money, the computer governs how much air the intake will let in. Gears or a programmer are better.

You might as well set your money on fire; unless you are in love with the extra noise they make.

they show a small improvement at wide open throttle.. ( very small )

the oil type will harm sensors.. a well known fact... I ran them for years..

I am trying the New OIL-Less washable one now... and not for performance/fuel mileage.. as it does nothing for that.
