Ford 48-52 turn signal kit

I thought I would share this for the purists out there (like me). Happened up on an original 48-52 turn signal kit today. It's totally complete with the signal, flasher, harness, clamps, brass wire ties (really cool), cancelling cam, a little baggy with grommets / bulbs, and instructions. The signal is marked sxts-a unlike the chrome sxts-b I have in my 50 now.

The directions gave me the courage to tackle installing the cancelling cam on my 50 as I had not done that up until now. So I pulled the steering wheel and installed the cam that I picked up at C&G a while back, following the instructions of where to locate the tangs. It works like a champ, no more leaving the signal on for miles after a turn.

JB

Pretty cool. I didn't even know there was such a thing. Mine has a Signal-Stat unit on it.

Really nice. I too have 4 Inch cyclops Signal stats. Could you point out what the correct turn lights to this Ford-kit would look like?

Thank you, Wil

So that's where all those fender mounted signals came from. Looks like dealer installed option. Very nice find.

Nice work, I did not know you could get a canceling cam for these. I might just have to look into this for my truck.

That is really cool. I didn’t know these existed.

Is there anyway you could post a pic or a scanned pdf of just the drawing?

Thanks

Keith
