Turn signal Stalk

Is the turn signal stalk supposed to have a bend in it? Thought I would ask before I straighten it.

Thanks Brian

Right turn Clyde.....

No. Looks like the PO put a different steering wheel on it and bent that stalk to match.

Friend of mine had a cat that could only turn right. Don't know why. If he wanted to go left he had to make a three quarter right circle.

Thanks for the clarification, maybe PO thought it was a tilt wheel. I will straighten it. The steering wheel is a ford wheel 2 spoke horn across the wheel.

2 "straight across" spokes? If so that would be an early 70's CAR steering wheel.

Upper pic: Same as 1970/72 car.

Lower (upper) pic: Same as 1973/77 F100/350; 1974/77 Bronco; 1975/77 Econoline (except 1975/77 F100/350/Econoline with Speed Control).

Thanks Bill.
Then in 1978 Ford changed from the above style 2 spoke steering wheel to a "Gull Wing" 2 spoke. But my oct 1988 microfische says all 73/79 pickups and Econolines all took the same T/S stalk. Originally D0AZ13305A which was all chrome. Later this was replaced by D3TZ13305B. Which was a chrome stalk with a black ****.
Wish I had an older slide. I remember the 13305's differently. I could swear originally the D3TZ13305B was 1973 specific. And the rest D3TZ13305A. Then both D3TZ - A and D0AZ numbers being replaced by D3TZ13305B.

My 68 has the older style turn signal - a holdover from the 61-66 trucks, I think.

Coastal I like you wheel. I will be getting a new steering wheel, I just haven't made up my mind on diameter and style yet.
