I'm not sure the exact temp. but with mine, the seats are on even though the lights for the level do not light. When you get in and push the start button you have to turn the seats on manually if you still want them.

So are you saying that if your last setting was air conditioned seats, and the heated seats turn on because its cold out in the morning, will it revert back to air conditioned seats or just turn off?

They turn off when you hit the start button. The radio/climate system reboot so they are off.
temps for heated seats were 41 and 72 for a.c. this was a few years ago so Ford could have changed it.
I can't speak to the cooled setting but if I had the heated seats on when I shut the truck off they will come back on at the same setting when I restart ( not remote). If it was warm the day before and the heated seats were not on when I shut the truck off then it turns cold overnight and I start the truck with the remote the seats will heat but when you get in the truck there are no level lights to show that. When I push the start button to drive the seats turn off ( again no lights) and I have to turn them back on manually if I still want them. I am guessing it would be the same for cooling.
When I remote start and its under 35 the steering wheel and seat heat are on low. Once I get in and push the button, the settings from my last drive kick in.
I have been trying to figure this out since I bought the truck. The problem is the heated and cooled seats are programmed based on the cab temp and not the outside temp. If it is 30 outside but the sun is shining in the truck, the cooled seats come on. If cloudy the heated seats will come on. This only happens when using the remote start. If not using remote start, the seats will be where I left them when I turned the truck off. Wish there was a way to change the temperature settings for remote start.

this is what mine seems to do. I wish it kept the heated seats on. I think my old 2008 gmc 2500 did this wish.
