Door Gap size

I don't think that there is "correct" gap size. My passenger door has about 1/4" all of the way around. I can slip my pinky finger in the space. My driver door has 1/4" on the front, bottom, and top edge, but almost 1/2" on the back side. If I evenly space the gap front to back, I can't get the door latch to line up very well at all.

Some times doors get adjusted to cut down on the noises seal draft.
I use a piece of printer paper placed in between the seal an door then close the door on the paper.
Work the paper all the way around the seal an find the less sealing areas by pulling the paper back n fourth to the less drag on the paper.
But best to install new door seals first.
If you have a tranny jack works pretty good to support the door.
Plus it's best if there's two guys to get them line up as it's not the easy task.
Also make sure the hinge pins & bushing are new as well.
