Hello gentleman. Quick introduction; I have a 1969 F100, with a 302 with three on a tree and one prior owner. I bought it when I was 16 with the idea of restoring it.. life money and the Army got in the way though. I’m stationed in Germany and coming home for Christmas’s leave in a month. When I was last Home the transmission was slipping, falling out of 2nd and 3rd gear and grinding slightly when I shifted. I am pretty sure it’s just the synchro rings, but I plan on rebuilding it all the way when I am home, but I can’t find a rebuild kit for a 3 speed top loader....
So, can I use a 4speed toploader kit, or am I going to have to piece it together? Do you guys know of a source for 3 speed rebuild kits? Also, is there a rebuild manuel for these things?

Thanks.
All the Ford type 3.03 3 speed manual all syncromesh trans parts should be available from NAPA, indie auto parts stores and are the same 1963/87.
Pic: The usual parts that should be replaced: 7025 front and rear bearings (they're different); (6) 7A044 syncro shoes (3 & 3).
(15) 7118 & (50) 7121 needle bearings; 7052 rear seal, 7A283 front seal; 7107 syncro blocker rings (1) 1st, (2) 2nd/3rd; 7B331 small parts kit (washers/snap rings).
These are the Ford 'basic' part numbers, not the complete part numbers. Auto parts stores do not go by these numbers.
Following, how about a throw out bearing and pressure plate. I think I need to replace the set on my 69' 3 speed.
Any local parts stores would be able to get the pilot bushing/bearing, throw out bearing, clutch and pressure plate. It would be a good time to have the flywheel resurfaced too.
