I noticed my high beams stopped working but when i pull the lever back they work for the momentary switch. I am assuming this is a switch/steering column issue.
Is this a common issue?
I hardly ever use them so its not that big a deal and If I need to I can pull the lever back.
I had the same happen on a different vehicle, be very careful the switch is bad, eventually, it can make the low beams go out when you release it, that happened to me.

Hopefully the turn signals keep working, I dont really ever use the high beams, I just happen to push the lever foward by mistake and noticed no high beams.
I will refrain from using the momentary lever to activate the high beams.
I replaced the turn signal/headlamp switch assembly in my 94 last spring. Job took under an hour. RA had a closeout on a Motorcraft unit for under $20 at the time.
