high beams not working sometimes

high beams not working sometimes
Happy New Year,,,, I have a 1997 F-150 short box 4.2 the high beams work some of the times when they do not work even the little blue high beam indicactor on the dash does not light up. fuse is good and the work some of the time.....HELP.....Ed

take a look at your floor switch. That might be the problem

I am not sure, but he may have the dreaded multi-function switch that does that job. It's mounted in the steering column.
