My OBD reader hasn't been plugged in for three weeks. I had taken it out to try to figure out what the hell was going on with the wife's car and forgot to put it back in.
Mine has done this a few times over the years and it has always been the plug over the E-Brake assembly. I can sometimes get it temporarily straightened out just by bumping the wad of wires going to the plug by carefully using the tip of my shoe and bump the loom a bit. When I get to a good stopping place, I will shut off the engine, then unplug and reinsert the plug, clear the codes and get back on the road.
I am currently having the exact same problems with my '16 SD. It's at the dealership as we speak for the second time this month. I use the E-brake religiously. I have left an voice mail with my Service Advisor & will let you know what happens!
Mine did it 2 weeks ago. Every damn light on the dash came on, odometer went blank, low oil pressure and coolant overheat messages.
I use my park brake every time I get out. Crawled under the dash, unpugged connector at park brake and plugged back in. Issue is has not reappeared so far. Some pleasant day I will pull the pins out and tighten them up correctly.

How did yours work out? Any more problems?!
all I did was unplug the connector at the park brake and plug it back in. No issues yet. Although my backup camera has gone all scrambled looking once but that's it.

I went having this issue nonstop it seemed for a few days then none for months, then a time or two. I have tried to push the connectors together more. I will try moving the connector and using some dielectric grease to make sure connection isn't lost in the future.
