So I was leaving for work this morning and got about half a mile from home when all of a sudden my whole dash lit up like a Christmas tree and started playing Christmas music for me. All at one time I got an engine over temp (truck had only been idling for about ten minutes), oil pressure low, service advance Trac, service engine, and the heater turned off. I turned around to go back home and 100 yards later they all went away just to all come back 100 feet later and go away just before I got home. While the codes were set my dpf gauge and odometer were blank. Torque pro and the obd link app show no codes. Couldn't get my forscan app to connect to look at each module.
anyone had this happen or know what it could be? It hasn't come back since the second time it happened.
WOW is right. I have no idea, hopefully Larry sees this thread....
Some kind of electrical problem. Most of the U codes are "lost communication with...."

If it's still under warranty I'd get it to the dealer ASAP. Probably would even if not covered. Could be a bomb waiting to go off at the most inopportune time.
Sounds like one of the plugs might be coming loose. Check the large ones on the firewall and down by the e-brake. Do you set the e-brake regularly? If so, might check there first.
I'm gonna be taking it in to get serviced Monday but won't be driving it until then. It's still in its ESP coverage. I purposely didn't clear the DTCs because I planned on having the dealership check it out.
I set my park brake every day when I get home. Our driveway is on an 8% grade so info it to save the tranny.

There is a large connector right next to the parking brake up under the dash. You might check that out. This has happened to other guys, where that connector has some contact with the parking brake, and has worked loose.
Might be the grey plug near the emergency brake. I had an issue 15/18 months ago. Same thing where the entire dash lit up and codes were set. Being a member here, I checked the grey plug and it was a little loose. Took it in and the dealer had it a week and could not find anything. Reset the codes and said to bring it back if it happens again. Nothing since.
In addition to above try not using your OBD bluetooth adapter. I had a whole series of issues, not identical to yours; but all weird. Ford could never find any thing wrong. Pulled my OBD adapter that I had successfully used for 2 1/2 years, Next month drive without any adapter. No weird issues, everything very normal. Bought another high end adapter and have used for several months. Ford tech thought perhaps OBD adapter was starting to fail, but no one knew any thing for sure. Mine threw codes, completely blanked out the screen, speedometer completely died; truck ran perfectly, then repeated everything. Close to Ford dealer so took it truck to their service department. Happened on Vact in Canada in Aug of this year.
