I have a 89 F-150 that we bought about 6 months ago, 200,000+ miles. The front dif has a slow leak from the bolts on the front of the axle. Is it likely the seal on the left axle arm is leaking?
It’s the front diff so he’s not exactly just pulling the cover but I agree that the 3rd member to TTB seal is leaking. Now is the time to do all the might as well stuff while the front end apart.

Agreed. Both axle seals and reseal the center chunk to the drivers axle housing
Pecking away with the 2 fingertips that are exposed. I am a descent typer so having the other fingers trapped makes for a difficult time. My other fingers know where all the keys are but my index fingers have to search for them. Had surgery Friday morning after the swelling had gone down. Doc said everything went very well. I suddenly have a lot of free time but can't do a damn thing... well except read so keep those posts coming!
