Rear Axel Seal

I think he's talking about the axle seal on the wheel end of the axle, not the differential. Mine has a leak there too and I haven't gotten around to looking at it (along with a list of other stuff) either, but the proceedure would basically go like this:
(This is assuming these are C-clip style axles, which I'm fairly certain they are)
Remove the tire/wheel and brake/rotor.
Open the diff cover and remove the center pin from the gear carrier.
Push the axle shaft in towards the differential.
Pull out the C-clip that's holding the axle shaft in.
Pull the axle shaft out of the housing.
Remove and replace the axle seal (may require a seal puller, but I don't know on these axles).
Put everything back together, fill axle with proper lube.

This is the axel seal on the end of the axel. The procedure posted by Pitrow appears to be correct and in line with the Haynes manual. The dealer wanted $450 to do the job. I have less than $100 in new E-brakes, oil, seals, and lifetime shocks. I post the results of the job here tomorrow.
