I'm a big fan. Nice find. Your old one was nice too. It's been my experience the crew cabs are a little tighter than the extend cabs.

Nice truck, I don't know how anyone can run those paddle mirrors though. Visibility sucks with those. I'd guess your planning a mirror upgrade though.

Who orders those on a F350? . I bought 2 new ones, mine were damaged, with heat off eBay for $180/set.

Yea the mirrors are going. Yes they do suck. Pulled my gooseneck twice already and can't see a damn thing. I've also nearly changed lanes over on a clown car already. I've got a brand new factory leather seat cover that came with it which is nos. what's it worth? Figured I would sell it and put it towards new covers for both front captains chairs. Also can I change the tank out to a bigger size? Or is there not room on a sb 350 for the larger tank?

I want to update the headlights to the clear like my 03 had and smoke the clearance lights. That's the majority of my plans. What are my options for a larger fuel tank on here? I'm sick of only having 26gal. I figured the 350 would have a bigger tank.
I'd skip the Derale pan and add a trans cooler off a 6.0, way more cooling for the dollar. If you're planning to tow I'd call a 6.0 cooler mandatory. Also I don't believe 99s came with the trans cooling line thru the radiator. If not a later radiator with that capability is a big plus. Hutch and Harpoon mods will net you around 3-4 extra gallons in the stock tank. Otherwise Titan makes larger tanks to fit in the stock position, and in-bed tanks can really up the volume and give serious range.

The last short box I had I ran a 36 gallon tank in the bed that gravity drained into the factory tank. Worked well.

Very nice! The 6.0 cooler would be #1 on my list.

Have you considered putting an Auxillary Tank in the back?

@Sous did one when he did his Hutch mod and from what I've seen on his post, It has provided him a lot of help on long trips. Eventually I want to have a 5th Wheel and when that happens, I'll definitely be installing one.

Wick.y is right about me installing a tank in the bed. I put in an ATTA45RBR aluminum tank which is 45 gallons. This gives me nearly 1400 miles unloaded and 900 miles towing our 5th wheel trailer. This was one of the best things I ever put on this truck because filling up when you want to instead of when you need to is a wonderful thing. The tank sits below the bed rails and I recently installed a cover to keep everything clean and covered up when the trailer is not attached.

In addition, I widened the neck hole for the factory tank and the auxiliary tank was already wide, but now I can fill up at big truck fuel pumps at Flying J and Pilot. Makes like a lot easier with the trailer and the bigger nozzles fill up the truck so much faster.

I smile just a bit when I watch the fuel gauge on the truck go up as I am rolling down the road at 65 MPH.

What was involved in widening the neck. My 2000 had the bigger hole but my 99 does not. I was going to try and find a newer filler neck but maybe it would be easier to just modify mine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe @Sous widened the neck hole during his hutch mod installation. I've added the link to that thread below:
