Need some help. Doing a frame off restore and just started putting my 1966 F250 2WD back together. We have the wheels on and starting on the brakes. The front brake hose on the passenger side fits great. The hose on the drivers side hits the kingpin and won't screw all the way on. Any thoughts on why this would happen and how to fix it? Both hoses are identical.
Some of the new manufacture wheel cylinders aren't cast or machined quite right and won't fit without a bit of grinding, and hear stories of misaligned ports. Is that what's going on here maybe?
