I need some help figuring out which brake hose I need.
It sounds stupid and I'm sure it is but I'm kind of baffled about it.
The hose in question is the one that connects the proportion valve to the front junction.
It goes thru the frame to the proportion valve and connects to the "junction" for the front brakes.
I thought it was the front center hose but what I see on Rockauto doesn't seem to look like whats installed.
I don't know if the PO did something different there or if I'm just looking at this wrong.
So it's metal from proportion valve to the frame, turns to rubber all the way to the junction.
What is this hose called?
The front center hose I see on Rockauto has a different fitting where I guess it would connect to the front junction. Link to the hose I thought was the correct one but doesn't look like mine.
Mine is just a "normal" brake fitting on both ends from what I can tell.
Thanks for helping me thru a "stupid" moment...
My truck is in my sig
it's a standard cab, figure it as a default and it doesn't matter if it's a ranger xlt or whatever as far as I can tell with parts.
