Truck dies after couple min of driving
hey guys just had this happen for the second time this morning. About two minutes from house the truck dies. Happened the other day too. Takes about a minute for it to try and start back up and once it fires it runs rough then goes back to normal. Any ideas.

So still having the same issue. I pulled my programmer thinking maybe it was the problem. After connecting batteries it drove fine for a few miles. Gave it a shot today and it died at the same spot it always does about 15 houses from mine. But it was different this time. Instead of motor shutting off I just lost accceleration. Coasted to curb and it ran rough for a second then idled itself back to normal. I have changed the cps sensor and the fuel filter.

Did you drive through any water when it died? Moisture can get in the Cam Position Sensor around the o-ring and kill it. Usually 'starts right back up'.
How did it die? Fast, like key shut off or slower like starved for fuel?
Low oil level will close the injectors, as they stay open by oil pressure.
Unplug the fuel bowl heater connector on the back of the fuel bowl, it is not needed and if the element burns out, it is hard to trace down and will blow fuse #30.

We haven’t had any rain here in so cal for a while. It dies out slow almost like its out of fuel. At the same spot every time.
