Anyone out there know the Part no. for the pinion seal for a 1950 f-3 differential? I hope to paint the overload springs and differential next weekend. I might as well replace the seals while I'm at it. Bill found me the numbers for the hubs.
I got mine from a local bearing house , I would suggest that before you spend to much money on that Timken rear end that you give some thought to installing a Dana 60 in its place
Allan I want to keep the truck as stock as possible. So we will stay with the original style rearend. I took the nut off the pinion yoke tonight. The yoke didn't want to come off to easy,so I soaked it with penetrant and will use a puller tomorrow. Then hopefully the seal will have a P/N.
