What Time Is It?! M Clock Keeps Changing!

Any of you guys have this problem?

My truck is a 2017 F250 4x4 FX/4 Superduty with the 6.7 PSD. Sync-3.

The digital clock on the center screen seems to want to keep changing to a time that is six hours earlier than the local time. I reset it and it sticks for as long as I keep the truck on, but then when I shut off and re-start, it resets itself back to the incorrect time.

Any ideas?

Might have to do with your GPS settings.

Mine just started doing the same thing. Turning off the update seems to work but then you don't have an updated clock.

Never had this problem prior weird.

can you configure the clock based upon EST/CST/Mountain time zones?

I have it set to auto configure. I believe it works off of the GPS. Not sure if you can set to to a certain time zone.

Then your GPS is suspect and may need replaced.

Do you have NAV? If not I don't think there is a GPS module in the Sync system so it won't get the proper time if the GPS time sync is selected in the options. I just turned it off on mine and it's been fine ever since.

im not 100% sure if I have nav, but I think I do. I’ve never used it, but it’s a pretty loaded platinum. I’ll check it out in the morning and see if that’s the issue. Thanks for the tip.

It will most likely be the module that needs replaced.

turns out I have Nav. I just reset the clock again. Hopefully it holds. If not, I’ll have to get it looked at when I bring it in for my first oil change.

Any update to this? Is there a fix or setting to keep time from changing?

Mine started doing that, then the GPS started messing up, then the sync system started to get real laggy...turned out to be an APIM failure. Replaced under warranty.
