I ordered my F250 CC SB V10 back in October and just picked it up last week. I had posted a bit back when I ordered to get some ideas of what to put on it and had some great feedback. Thanks to everyone who posted, but then I had to leave the forum after the frustration of having to wait so long for the assembly line.
However, now it's sitting in my driveway and I have only one complaint. (May this be the only complaint I have on this truck)
I have the CD/Tape stereo and in order to get the clock to display, I have to hit the clock button. Is there anyway to get this thing to automatically display the time instead of what track or radio station I am on? Since there is no other clock in the truck, I usually live and die by the clock and hitting that button everytime I change the station or hit next track is really getting old, and I've only been driving it a week.
I have an '01 250 w/ the same stero as yours. Mine displays the time always, unless you change the channel, track or volume, then it goes back to the time after like 10 seconds.
The clock in my 2002 I just leave it on clock and after I change stations or skip ahead a track or something of that nature, it will change back to the clock within a few seconds (5-10 maybe). I very seldom have to hit the clock button unless I want to see what time it is when everything is shut off then I hit clock and it shows up without turning on the ignition.
I think if you hit the clock button twice, it will always display track/station except when the radio is off. Hit the clock button again, and the clock will come back and stay.
Thanks for the info guys. I got it to snap back to clock after messing with the volume or station now. I'm on travel for the week, but hope to be back in my truck on Friday for some fun trips!
