Firewall Grommets

As I get to finalizing this build, its the smalls that are getting me now. What are ya'll using for the choke cable and speedometer cable grommets through the firewall? Also for the brake pedal push rod? PO had nothing there. For the pedal rod, it is aftermarket so, figured I could just make my own and have it bolt on with the power brake booster to the exterior side? Thoughts? Or guidance?

The speedometer cable didn't have a grommet as such but used a foam sleeve that goes in the hole where the cable goes through. Here's a pic of an NOS speedo cable. the longer piece of foam blocks the firewall hole. The shorter foam piece holds the cable away from the trans so it doesn't chafe, which not all cables had depending on application.

Here's the shot from the MPC of the heater cable - looks like it has a similar foam piece (circled in red) as the speedometer cables. One of my trucks has a remnant of that piece of foam. I think over time the foam either dries out and falls off or turns to a black tar like ooze, depending on climate.

Thanks Chad. Lots of help. I'll make a foam sleeve for the speedo and choke cable. Figure I can make some from pipe insulation. My speedo had neither sleeve nor does the heater cable.
