Gas tank question

Would any of you fellas know if the gas tank from a 1975- 1985 Econline would fit in a 1979 F 250 4x4?

You didn't say which cab the F-250 has and whether you were interested in the "under the cab" tank or the "behind the axle" tank. Apparently all of them are different tanks.

It will not.

No Econoline of any year fuel tank will fit an F100/350. Econolines use completely different fuel tanks and filler tubes.

Thanks Numberdummy. That is what I needed to know. A fella near me has an Econoline fuel tank for sale, brand new and a great deal.
