I am painting my truck and should have it painted in a couple weeks. Been a long road I'm not sad is coming to an end.
I have put new cab corners and bed sides on, so the studs that hold the molding clips in place are gone. Do they make a pop rivet with a shoulder that will hold the plastic molding clips in place? Also is there a source for the plastic clips? A few of mine broke while removing the trim.
Trying to round up the parts I need before the truck gets back from the painter.
I used a tool like this one to weld studs on my bed, doors & fenders when I installed the trim on a truck that originally didn't have it. Drilling lots of holes for rivets is asking for rust problems down the road. https://www.ebay.com/itm/H-S-Auto-Sh...8AAOSwjDZYlMBb
