Sync 2.3
I see Sync version 2.3 has been published on the SyncMyRide website for my Sync 3 truck, build date Nov 2016. Previous official version was 2.0. Timing is funny for me, as I upgraded to 2.2 a couple days ago from a link posted by another user, and I was about to move to version 3.0 tomorrow. With this official 2.3 release I'll give it a go tomorrow morning. Has anyone else any experience with 2.3?

Well that was interesting. I tried to install Ford's official update from 2.0 to 2.3 and it failed. It just hung with the updating message banner. After a couple hours I did a master reset and then successfully installed version 3. But now it appears that the quick replies to text messages are not available. Text messages come in okay, but there's no option to reply.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Got mine to detect a update. Took about 15 minutes to scan. Then it started to down load over WiFi then crapped out. So I told it to scan again. Got tired of sitting there in the cold so I left it be. Maybe in the morning it'll have downloaded it.

The OTA update for version 2.2 wasn`t available until a few weeks after it had been released.

It`s the next update after 2.3 which has been "OFFICIALLY" released by Ford a few days ago.
However, 3.0 is out and about in the wild and some have already downloaded it but it "HAS NOT" been officially released by Ford so proceed with caution if you download it.
So I guess you can say that it is kind of a Beta.

2.2 never showed up as an OTA for me, I contacted ford they told me it was a dealer installed update only to if you had the sirus traffic problem.

Yeah I couldn't get it over the WIFI either, so I just downloaded it onto USB. It was 1.7GB, so just used a random lying around 4GB thumbdrive.

Ford says SYNC 3 v2.2 is currently the latest and greatest for my particular truck (XLT w/out Nav).
