I'm in the same boat as Sous with boost, I believe we have similar setups. Other than I am using a TM waste gate control and spt wheel. After the wheel install I had to adjust the waste gate spring pressure a good bit lighter than the recommended setting to keep my boost below 32 on my mechanical boost gauge. I limited it to 28psi, but now after reading about beating on the MAP sensor with more that 25psi I think I will get an OCR for that issue.
I have stock injectors, but I also have a Hydra with Gear Head tunes. The ~32-33 PSI is peak and only been there a few times for testing really. Normally the boost comes on smooth as I apply throttle to reach the desired level of speed and maintain it with or without the 5th wheel attached.
I recently tried the Economy and Street Shredder tunes from 1023 Tuning, but they are not for me. I have learned to drive the truck one way for the past 3 years and the engine was a completely different animal on the 1023. Not a good thing, not a bad thing, just not my preference.
I didn't realize that you're running the Hydra, ok that probably helps a bit with the boost. I guess I really can't complain about 26 psi on stock sticks and turbo at 6500 feet of elevation with no chip.
Well, I wanted to post this video of the Racor Filter and the "protection" I came up with and just how it looks and how much protection it actually does provide. The Racor filter has been on the truck for a month ago a half. The filter housing looks very good under the bottle, there was absolutely no moisture inside the bottle either, Regardless of your opinion of it, it works well.
