My guess would be that the running gear is from the donor truck so bolt patterns , dual wheels etc are probably not relevant . It looks like it was reasonably well done , do you know how many miles - years your grandfather drove it ? And oh by the way very cool truck and welcome .

He drove the truck since 1974, converted to cummins,I believe in 2004, if my mind serves me right. Not sure on the miles, runs strong, no blowby. It's a Ford F-250 since the first three digits are f25.
I did some research, the truck is sitting in a 77 ford 1 ton frame.
